A summary of the main differences between the species is given below.
Noble Fir - Non Drop
Dark green needles with slight blue-ish colour and strong beautiful Christmas Tree scent.
Lodgepole Pine - Non Drop
Excellent traditional tree. Long needles, often with pine cones. Paul’s Favourite.
Norway Spruce - Traditional Tree
A traditional tree. Very pretty, with short needles. Recommended as an outdoor tree as they can drop their needles when brought inside.
Nordmann Fir - Non Drop
Most popular tree these days. Big, cuddly tree with soft needles.
Fraser Fir - Non Drop
A very smart tree. Slight silver tone underneath the needles. Slimmer than other types of tree, good for narrow spaces.
Potted Trees
Pot grown Norway spruce 3-4ft and 5-6ft Nordmann Fir 3-4ft in a pot with fully intact root ball ready to plant after Christmas.
