Our Story

We are a family business based in Bradshaw, Bolton, Lancashire and we are renowned for our high-quality Scottish Christmas Trees.

Third generation nurseryman, Paul Haley has been selling trees for almost 60 years learning his trade on Bolton market then set up Paul Haley Christmas Trees some years later.

Established in 1980, 2020 marked the 40th Anniversary of Paul Haley Christmas Trees, now a Lancashire institution based at Pines Farm.

Traditionally, Christmas begins for our loyal customers when they come with their families to select their own fresh trees at our outdoor tree farm.

Pines Farm has been visited by loyal local families for over 40 years. Everyone enjoys searching for their tree with a mince pie and hot chocolate in hand, saying hello to Father Christmas and picking a free gift from the free Christmas present bazaar stall. We ensure everyone leaves happily with a farm fresh scented natural tree to begin Christmas in their home.

We have had celebrity support including late local hero, Fred Dibnah who opened the season for us in 1999 and have even had Father Christmas himself flown in by helicopter.

We have provided large trees for businesses, hotels, churches, schools and the local community. Please email or call to enquire about these.

Every year, you can expect to see the same faces who have been working with us from the beginning, and we really know our trees!
